How To - Using the Report Builder in the Content Mastery Tracking System
The Report Builder is a very robust query feature that will allow you to generate a history report (much like the Date Range Status report). However, you are able to specify the dates to incude as well as a host of other criteria.

For example, using the Report Builder, you can run a report and choose to only include students with study sessions between a starting and ending date, as well as only those students with over 90 minutes who are in Mrs Johnson's class and who are flagged with a particular flag.

Click Reports from the main menu and then click Report Builder. The following screen will appear.

 

First specify the starting and ending dates as you have in the other reports. Then click the Add/Edit Filter button (located in the lower left corner) and the following screen will appear.

 

To start building the requirements for the report, first select a field

 

then select an operator (such as greater than or less than, etc)

 

and then either select a value or enter a value and click the Add Rule button

 

You can continue to build your query (as simple or as complex as you need it to be). Once your done, click the Finish button and you'll return to the initial Report Builder screen. The criteria you've specified will appear in the large textbox.

 

If you're satisfied with the query, click the Printer icon to generate the report.
